The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems/electronics. Currently, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our clients in the Automotive industry and develop a set of several applications responsible for managing an intelligent mobile car system (Smart Vehicle Architecture). This is an internal product that will be selectable for individual customers. Join us and work while learning and developing yourself on projects that impact our communities and society.

• Working on flexible definition of the entire hardware and software platform in vehicles, effective use of ECU computing capabilities, and even greater integration of vehicles with the Cloud
• Bring-up of new hardware platforms
• Writing build automation scripts
• Analyzing customer requirements to come up with a software strategy to achieve project goals. 
• Creating orchestrators, software analogous to Kubernetes for embedded platforms
• Using C, C++, Rust, and Python languages on a variety of target platforms including based on VxWorks, QNX, WindRiver Linux
• Ensuring all tasks are completed by industry quality standards

• Experience with one of the following POSIX OS: VxWorks/QNX/Linux Embedded  
• Knowledge of hardware bring-up  and writing software using C/C++/Rust
• Familiarity with build system (yocto) and OS configuration/dependency resolution
• Good understanding of operating system internals  
• Excellent debugging skills  
• Deep knowledge of SoC hardware architecture including interfaces: I2C, SPI, GPIO, etc.  
• Familiarity with application processors based on Cortex-A ARM architecture and Python or any scripting language  
• Significant programming experience in C  
• Proven problem-solving skills  
• Understanding Embedded and hardware debugging tools, e.g. JTAG debugger (Trace32), evaluation boards, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, data logger, etc.
