Join one of the largest financial institutions in the world as a Cybersecurity Fullstack Engineer. You will work on a cybersecurity team that works on data loss prevention, security infrastructure, and vulnerability management. The team delivers critical functions and transactions worth billions of pounds across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and support open-source software used by our internal services, primarily in GoLang and Python.

• Support and maintain GoLang software development, particularly with open-source software
• Work with and support your pod’s Product Owner and Development Lead in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements
• Work with cybersecurity experts in understanding and refining requirements, delivering on features iteratively, whilst also proposing new technologies and solutions to help keep the bank secure
• Ensure the operability of existing services, including L2/L3 troubleshooting, bug fixing, and writing automated test cases and any further technical documentation needed to support delivered code
• Undertake peer reviews and lead by example junior developers in the team

• Hands-on experience in supporting, maintaining, and contributing to open-source software
• Ability to demonstrate extensive experience (at least 5 years) in software development in GoLang 
• Expertise in software debugging, investigating and root cause analysis, and developing fixes for software bugs
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development with Python, using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django and have experience developing data pipelines, primarily in Python, using libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and tools such as Airflow, Luigi, etc.
• Solid experience in frontend development, at least using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
