About the client
The oldest and largest insurance company in Poland, in terms of sales volume, number of customers, network of service points, and the number of employed and cooperating agents.
The challenge
During the implementation of the HRMS (human resource management system) the Client realized that large-scale implementation needed separate planning and coordination of tests from the Client’s side. Shortly after a brief analysis it was clear that the scope of tests anticipated by the contractor did not include many key test cases and, what is more, testing was carried out without any plan agreed with the client, which has a dispersed organizational structure.
What we did
Sii’s engineers, despite joining the project at the final phase, have decided to complete a full project cycle – starting from the design of the testing plan, through the design of test cases and coordination of tests with the business client, to end with supervision of the testing process and analysis of errors.
Effects
During the project we allocated a relevant domain consultant and specialist in the Oracle HRMS to support our test leader. Seamlessly and without any cost to our client the entire project was supported by the knowledge of more than ten of our engineers.
The Client’s satisfaction with the high qualifications of our engineers was important, but their work also helped to optimise costs: instead of involving a costly HRMS consultant for 2 months, we allocated an experienced test leader who was occasionally supported by domain specialists.
