About the client
Norlys was formed in 2019 as the merger between Syd Energi and Eniig. With over 2500 employees, it’s Denmark's largest integrated energy and telecommunications group. Norlys supplies over 1 million addresses in Denmark with electricity and the Internet.
The challenge
Smooth end-customer service is essential for the image of the new company on the market. Norlys needed to create a unified self-care system to replace different platforms used before the merge.
The new system required also a new back-office solution.
What we did
Sii members of the project team worked closely with Norlys on:
- business analysis,
- system architecture,
- software development and testing,
- organizing code quality control procedures,
- test automation for integrations with backend.
Overall Sii team performance was supervised by Sii Service Delivery Manager.
Effects
Delivery time: Nov 2019-Apr 2020.
Norlys’ customers enjoy now a new system with functionalities such as usage chart, list of invoices, or profile and identity management. The team met a tight deadline and delivered a product that is (a) open for future challenges and (b) easy adaptable, with its modular, scalable architecture.
