As an Embedded Software Engineer at Sii Sweden, you will be part of a team responsible for developing cutting-edge infotainment systems for one of the leading automotive technology suppliers. You will work on the development of the in-vehicle Android Linux-based system running native or virtualized inside the QNX hypervisor.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for the infotainment system.

You will be working with a range of technologies including Android, Linux, and QNX, and will need to have expertise in these areas. You will also be expected to work closely with other team members to ensure that the software meets customer requirements and specifications.

• Contribute and deliver a new generation of Android-based infotainment head units
• Work as a member of a globally distributed team on designing and developing automotive user experience solutions for leading car manufacturers
• Develop software solutions from initial concept and requirements development through to production implementation and software lifecycle support
• Troubleshoot software issues, solve problems, do root cause analysis, etc.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, port it to new hardware, or improve performance and non-functional requirements and perform refactoring work

• Expertise in C++ development for embedded systems
• Extensive experience in Embedded Android
• Previous work with software design methodologies
• Knowledge of the latest software quality standards
• Hands-on experience with Linux

Optional:

• Knowledge of Android architecture and toolchain
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development
• Experience with the Agile software development process
• Previous work with CMake
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and automotive networks
• Awareness of Functional Safety and SPICE processes
